HOMEBODY
it wasn't until i was asked to write a guest post about my daily life that i realized how seemingly boring my life appears. most of the time it's work, followed by working on my store or the blog, followed by cooking dinner, watching some netflix, and then bed. hardly worthy of a blog post.
at first this realization made me a little sad, and i suddenly wanted to fill my life with more interesting and exciting activities. but you know what? i love my home, and i love my boring little life. i'm a nester. my home is my refuge where i can recharge and just be. dinner out and nights on the town have their place, but sometimes cooking dinner for my husband and cuddling on the couch is the best thing for the soul.

I'm a relatively new follower to your little blog, and I just have to say that I love this post :) I feel like my little blog gets pretty boring (constant whining about how school stresses me out), but in the end it's my life & I'm ok with it, even if other people do think its boring :)

I agree! Sometimes boring and simple is the best! Who has time for all this coming and going anymore!

Love this!
ReplyDeleteThe nights you described here sound like bliss to me. My husband and I are in the process of streamlining our life so we can have more times like that. They're good for the soul, which in turn becomes good for everything else :)
Thanks for sharing!

I guess that sounds like my life...

Ah I wish I could change it..:(
Thank you for the thoughtful comment.
ReplyDeleteI am the same way. I feel like my life is really pretty boring and I'm totally okay with that. With the exception of some every-once-in-a-while plans on the weekend, I generally stay indoors on my same red couch in a different pair of pajamas! :) It's pretty much heaven.
