GONE CAMPIN'

this spring i was set on making the most of the season and determined to go camping as much as possible. well, mission accomplished. it's not even june and we have already been camping twice. even though it was already pretty hot, (it tends to heat up to the 90's as early as april in texas) we decided to spend the weekend at a scenic little park only 10 miles away from our apartment.

it was so nice being able to drive 15 minutes and be at our campsite. not to mention that we were able to drop off banjo at our apartment during the day when we were out canoeing. we didn't exactly rough it while we were there. we had chili turkey dogs, pizza, cinnamon rolls, and breakfast burritos--mmmm. oh, and did i mention that it was cinco de mayo weekend? so ofcourse we celebrated with games, strawberry margaritas, and some tecate. here's the pics!
